  Baumann, Cyril J. W5191 Wege Rd. Appleton Age 84, passed away at his residence June 11, 2002. He was born October 30, 1917 at Appleton, the son of William & Odelia (Fries) Baumann. On June 18, 1941 Cyril married Evelyn Wittlin and together they resided and farmed in the Mackville area. Mr. Baumann had been employed with the Institute of Paper Chemistry and Fox Tractor Co. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was always ready to help anyone and always mowed all our lawns. He was always there for everyone who needed him. Cyril was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church of Mackville where he was an usher and trustee for many years and also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Survivors include four daughters: Sandy (Gary) Kohl, Appleton; Lynn (Don) Nelson, Hortonville; Pat (Gordy) Huettl, Hortonville; Tracy (Dave) Maass, Shiocton. Two sons: Tom (Sandy) Baumann, Hortonville; and Jeff (Vickie) Baumann, Appleton. Three brothers: Harold, Appleton; John, Kimberly; and Silver, Neenah. Five sisters: Sr. Mary Florian, Manitowoc; Mary Tennie, Shiocton; Helen Stingle, Black Creek; Phyllis Smits, Kimberly; Alice Romenesko, Appleton. 23 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Evelyn; brothers Frank, Victor and Florian Baumann and a sister Lucille Fox and a granddaughter. The funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 14, 2002 from St. Edward's Catholic Church, Mackville, with Reverend Charles Brooks celebrating. Burial will be in the St. Edward's Parish Cemetery. Friends may call directly at the Church on Friday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Cyril's name. The Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home of Hortonville assisted the family. Section C, Page 4
