- Estelle R. Moehring, of Seymour, age 93, passed away early Friday morning, April 23, 2010, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour. She was born February 20, 1917, daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Sturm) Striegel. On October 11, 1941, she was united in marriage to Florian J. Moehring in Mackville. He preceded her in death on September 25, 1982.
Estelle was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Freedom where she was a member of the Christian Mothers. She was also a member of the Caring and Sharing Group at Good Shepherd, and Homemakers Group. She enjoyed her car, the Breakfast Birthday Club, going with her friends and loved to garden.
She is survived by her four sons: Bill (Ginny), Waupaca; Don (Linda), Appleton; Jerry (JoAnne), Mountain; Dave (special friend Scott Young), Suamico; her two daughters: Janice (Jerry) Henn, Seymour; Lavonne (Steve) Mueller, Seymour; daughter-in-law, Kaye Seifert, Greenville; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Hopfensperger, Kaukauna; one brother, Robert Striegel, Mackville; sisters-in-law, Mildred Vandeberg, Kaukauna, Ethel Moehring, Appleton, and Alice Nickel, Chilton.
She was preceded in death by a son Bob; sister, Martha; and son-in-law, Larry Gagnow; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Milton Sachs, Isodore Vandenberg, Alex Nickel, Ralph Moehring, Earl Hopfensperger and Dorothy Striegel.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Sunday, April 25, 2010, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. and on Monday, April 26, 2010, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom, from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at Noon with Father Dave Hoffman and Deacon Don Newhouse officiating.
