- Thomas, Beatrice W. (nee Schr oeder)Beatrice W. Thomas (nee Schroeder), age 92, died Saturday, May 29, 20 04 at Franciscan Care Center in Appleton. She was born April 18, 1912 at G reen Valley In Oconto. Her parents were Frank and Nathalie (Sommerfeldt) S chroeder. She married Richard Conrad in Gillett, Wis. on Sept. 7, 1932. Th ey made their home in Kaukauna and later in rural Seymour. Richard preced ed her in death in March of 1965. On Oct. 12, 1974 she married Earl Thom as at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cicero, Wis. He preceded her in dea th in December of 1986.Beatrice is survived by three sons, Kenneth (Barbara Wussow) Conrad, Abbot tsford; Wayne (Cecilia Hallam) Conrad, Manitowoc; Bruce Conrad, Appleto n; daughter-in-law, Donna Conrad, Baileys Harbor; stepson, Darvin (Doroth y) Thomas, Appleton; grandchildren, Richard Conrad, Madison; Val (Paul) Kn autz, Abbottsford; Mike (Tami) Conrad, Cottage Grove; Susan (Monte) Mathew s, Kansas; Adam Conrad, Minnesota; Tom Conrad, Whitelaw; John (Pam) Conra d, Greenville; Greg (Terri) Conrad, New Berlin; Mary (Matt) Horton, Hawai i; step-grandchildren, Cheryl, Susie, Keith, Brian, Brent, Brenda, Rick, B ill, Vicki, Steve, Jeff and Robert, Jr.; 13 great-grandchildren and sever al step-great grandchildren; a brother, Les Schroeder, Gillett; sister a nd brother-in-law, Gloria (Bob) Miller, Minnesota; sisters-in-law, Anita S chroeder and Agnes Schroeder, Gillett; Margaret Conrad and Frances Ozbu rn Wolfgram, Kaukauna; nieces and nephews; special friends, Donna Muelle r, who helped her and spent time with her, as well as Tootie Zuleger; a nd many other friends.She was preceded in death by both husbands; brothers, Walter and Herb Schr oeder; stepchildren, Bobby Thomas, Mary Ann Beyer and Virgela Fische r; as well as brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 20 04 at Zion Lutheran Church, 912 N. Oneida St., with Pastor Wendy Wirth-Bro ck officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the se rvice at the church. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park.
