  Quella, Thomas J.Thomas J. Quella, Appleton, age 84, passed away Thursday Oct. 6, 200 5, at Appleton Medical Center. Tom was born Sept. 22, 1921, in Appleton, t he son of the late Joseph and Agnes (Hoffman) Quella. He was united in mar riage to Eunice Krueger; she preceded him in death on Jan. 24, 1976. Tom w as employed by Wisconsin Distributing for many years, retiring in 198 4. He also owned and operated the One More Bar and together with his broth er Richard, the 400 Club. Tom was a longtime member of the Teamsters. He w as a veteran of World War II serving with the US Navy aboard the USS Salam onie "Ole Sal." Tom was stationed in the Pacific and would talk with pri de about his Navy days. Tom will be remembered as a hard worker and a go od provider. He enjoyed traveling and car racing, and actually drove a sto ck car in his younger days. But above all, he will be remembered as a fami ly man. A man who loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his chil dren and grandchildren.Survivors include his three daughters Debbie Pickett, Menasha; Darlene Que lla (special friend Dave Beyer), Lomira, Wis; Diane (Randy) Krueger, Apple ton; three sons twins James, Appleton and John, Menasha, and Jerry Quel la of Appleton; 10 grandchildren Bradley, Amanda, and Jesse (fiancee Mist y) Pickett, Adam (special friend Jennifer) and Amy Quella, Tiffany (Bra d) Verhagen, Tonia (fiance Justin) Quella, Craig (Kelly) Krueger, Cory Kru eger, and Kyle Quella; four great-grandchildren; three brothers Kenneth Qu ella, Oshkosh, William Quella, Town of Menasha, and Raymond (Marilyn) Quel la, Appleton; two sisters Joan Reitzner and Margaret (Andrew) Kangas, bo th of Appleton; a sister-in-law Elaine Quella, Darboy; also nieces, nephe ws and dear friends.In addition to his parents and wife, Tom was preceded in death by a broth er Richard, son-in-law James Pickett, brother-in-law Arnold Reitzner, t wo sisters-in-law Millie and Suzie Quella and a nephew Arnie.Funeral services will be held 4:30 p.m. Tuesday Oct. 11th at Highland Memo rial Park Cemetery Chapel, 3131 N. Richmond St., with Rev. Mark Geisthar dt officiating. Full military honors will follow. Friends may call direct ly at the cemetery chapel from noon Tuesday until the time of the servic e.
