- Biesterveld, Gladys, Little C huteAge 77, Passed into the arms of our heavenly Father on September 12, 200 3, surrounded by her loving family. Gladys was born to the late Edward a nd Adrianna Van Linn on March 30, 1926. She married Joseph Biesterve ld on April 29, 1948 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Little Chu te where she was a life long member. Gladys' many hobbies included cookin g, baking and bird watching. She especially loved watching her children a nd grandchildren participate in sporting activities. She enjoyed dinners o ut with family and friends and long car rides with Joe. Gladys had a wa rm heart as was evident through her involvement with charitable causes.Gladys is survived by her husband of 55 years, Joe; 8 children: Dan "Boome r" (Mary) Kaukauna; Nancy Vander Zanden and special friend Mike Anholze r, Kimberly; Leon (Carolyn), Little Chute; Joe (Theresa), Kaukauna; Benj ie (Kim), Little Chute; Sherrie (Ken) Hoelzel, Kaukauna; Cindy (Pete) Baeh man, Oshkosh; Todd and special friend Lisa Kaufman, Little Chute; 22 grand children: Diane, Duane, Brian, Alicia, Tyler, Josey, Judd, Mike, John, Jac ob, Ashley and Brian Biesterveld; Dana (Alex) Parker; Raymond (Vicky) V an Asten; Mike (Amy) Vander Zanden; Joey (Rod) Reader; Lisa (Rick) Aren t; Kelly (Jesse) Effa; Billie Jo Hoelzel; Jessica, Ryne and Brett Baehma n; 11 great grandchildren: Natalie, Lexus, Katlyn, Elizabeth, Emily, Etha n, Lucas, Zachary, Emma, Paige and Tanner. 5 siblings: Ed (Delaine) Van Li nn; Mary Jane Wendel; John "Jack" Van Linn; Linda (Tom) Schabo; and San dy (Eugene) Vande Hey. 5 brothers and sisters-in-law: Rita Van Linn; Ro se (Bob) Fleming; Betty Schuh; Leo (Rita) Biesterveld; and Jerry Biesterve ld; also survived by nieces, nephews, many friends and her special pet, Ba ndit.in addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her son, Mik e; 3 siblings: Elaine Honick, Bill and Bob Van Linn; and mother and father -in-law, Riley and Stella Biesterveld.Mom was a very kind and loving person who always thought of others firs t. She will be truly missed by everyone who knew her. Mom will alwa ys be in our hearts.Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, September 15, 2003, at S t. Paul Catholic Church, Combined Locks, with Rev. Msgr. James Vanden Hog en officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute.
