  See Image Also found - Appleton Weekly Post dated 12/19/1889; John Cox, an old and well kno wn settler of Hollandtown and brother of Mrs. John McCarthy, died Saturda y, after an illness of but a few days. Deceased was about 65 years of ag e, The funeral services took place at Hollandtown Tuesday at 10 o'clock. John Cox a worthy citizen of Holland h as died. 1889 Kaukauna Times dated 12/20/1889 Mr. John Cox one of the oldest sett lers of the town of Buchanan departed life Saturday. The funeral occured t oday and many from this city were in attendance.
