- Kathleen Puls, 62, Little Chute, passed away unexpectedly after a lengthy illness, Friday, Nov. 11, 2011. She was born Oct. 11, 1949, in Appleton, daughter of Robert and Leona (Van Eperen) Green.
Kathleen was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute. Kathy married Steven D. Puls July 15, 1989. She was employed as a school bus driver for several local school districts. Kathy was also employed at Walmart and other local retail stores. She loved scrapbooking and was a Disney enthusiast and enjoying all things associated with Disney. Kathleen loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to take her grandchildren to Disney World.
Kathleen is survived by her husband, Steve; children, Angie (Robert) Huettl, Appleton; Robert Voigt and girlfriend, Kristin, Little Chute; Amanda (Jamie) Anderson, Little Chute; eight cherished grandchildren, Erik and Allison; Grace, Brendan and Alyssa; Sierra, Logan and Matthew; three brothers and a sister, Ray (Eileen) Green, New Jersey; Mike Green, Kimberly; Mary (Don) Gerrits, Little Chute; Jeff (Sarah) Green, Oshkosh; a brother-in-law, Mike (Kathy) Puls, Indiana; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011, at the Verkuilen Funeral Home, 101 Canal St., Little Chute, with Deacon Don Newhouse officiating. Interment will be in Ostrander Cemetery, New London. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Kathleen's name.
Kathleen's family wishes to thank Fox Valley Metro Police, Gold Cross Ambulance and the staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital Emergency Room for their wonderful care and compassion.
