  Mader, Ralph, KaukaunaAge 85, died Monday February 2, 2004 at the St. Paul Home. Ralph was bo rn July 3, 1918 to the late William and Millie (Hartzheim) Mader in Darbo y, WI. On July 11, 1940, Ralph married the former Marie Welhouse, the coup le farmed in the Sherwood area most of their married lives. They enjoyed a lmost 50 years of marriage prior to Marie's death in 1990. Ralph serv ed as Town Supervisor for the Townships of Woodville and Buchanan for 28 y ears. He enjoyed playing sheepshead and spending time with friends and fam ily on his horse wagon. Ralph was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Cathol ic Church.He is survived by his special friend Julie Micke, Brillion; t wo sons and three daughters-in-law: Charles (Judy) Mader, Mike (Becky) Mad er, all of Menasha; Karen Mader, Kaukauna; four daughters and sons-in-la w; Ann (Tom) Stumpf, Ruth (Paul) Stumpf, Dorothy Kempen, all of Kaukaun a; Marie (Pat) Zirbel, Wrightstown; Clarence Jr. (Bonnie) Wolfinger, Dunda s; 40 grandchildren, 63 great grandchildren, three brothers and sisters-in -law; Lawrence (Linda) Mader, Menasha; Cyril Mader, Donald (Phyllis) Made r, all of Darboy; Flo Mader, Florida; a brother-in-law, Les Kasten, Litt le Chute. He is further survived by his wife's family: Gordon (Ruth) Made r, Martha Welhouse, Rita Buchinger, Mona Welhouse, friend Bill Kempen, num erous nieces and nephews. Ralph was preceded in death by his wife, Mari e, a son Jim, a daughter, Barb Wolfinger; three brothers and three sisters -in-law; Arlan (LaVerne) Mader, Jack (Helen) Mader, Robert Mader, and Elea nor Mader.The funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Thursday February 5, 2004 at SACR ED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH, Sherwood with Fr. Kenneth Frozena officiating. F riends will be received on Wednesday (TODAY) at the Boettcher Family Funer al Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. and again on T hursday directly at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of servic e. There will be a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday (TODAY). B urial will be in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is be ing established in his name.
