- triegel, Dorothy H.Of Mackville, age 83, passed away on Saturday, Decemb er 27, 2003 at Appleton Medical Center, surrounded by her family. She w as born on April 11, 1920 to the late Arthur and Henrietta (Schoettler) Eh lke. Dorothy was united in marriage to Robert M. Striegel on October 28, 1 944, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Appleton. She was a long time memb er of St. Edwards Catholic Church in Mackville, where she was Preside nt of the Christian Mothers for 40 years. She and her husband, Robert liv ed and farmed in Mackville for many years. She loved to garden, play car ds and do crafts.
In addition to her husband of 59 years, Robert, she is survived by her so n: James of Mackville; daughters: Mary Courtney, Mackville, Barbara (Do n) Koller Neenah, Shirley (Warren) Thomson, Appleton; grandchildren: Je ff (Terri) Countney, Joe (Special Friend, Lisa) Countney, Gregory (Monic a) Koller, Keith (Tanya) Koller, Steven Koller, Diane Thomson, Denise (Dav id) Niemei, Great-grandchildren: Daali, Mason and Quinn Countney, Nichola s, Mitchell, Matthew and Morgan Koller, Taylor Koller, Jade Ann Thomson, b rother: Robert Ehlke, Oshkosh; sister: Mildred (Charles) Nackers, Kaukaun a; sister-on-law; Estelle Moehring, Seymour, and Mary Hopfensperger, Kauka una; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her father and mot her-in-law, Peter and Anna Striegel, brothers, Walter (Mildred) Ehlke a nd Wilbur Ehlke, sister-in-law, Pat Ehlke, brothers-in-law, Earl Hopfenspe rger and Florian Moehring and godchild, Robert Moehring.
The Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at 11:00 am at S t. Edward Catholic Church in Mackville, with Father Charles Brooks and Fat her Justin Werner officiating. The visitation will be on Tuesday at the fu neral home from 4 until 8 pm and again on Wednesday at the church fr om 10 am until the time of the mass. There will be a vigil service on Tues day at the funeral home at 7:30 pm. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the nurses at Appleton Medical Center IC U, Dr. Jack Anderson and his staff and Father Charles Brooks and Father Ju stin Werner.
