- Van Schyndel, Ken, KaukaunaAge 52, died unexpectedly Saturday, Jan. 31, 2004 as the result of a snowm obile accident. He was born May 1, 1951 in Appleton, Wis., son of the la te Arnold and Agnes (VanDenEng) Van Schyndel. Ken was employed as an elect rician at Thilmany International Paper in Kaukauna. He was employed the re for over 30 years. Ken was an avid, Avid, AVID Packer fan. He enjoyed s pending time with friends and family up north at his cottage. He was a mem ber of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna, the Thilmany Quarter Centu ry Club and the Kaukauna Quarterback Club.He is survived by a son, Kyle in the US Navy; two daughters, Kelly, Steve ns Point; and Christy, Kaukauna; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, V ern (Cindy), Freedom; Dave (Julie), Kaukauna; Jer (fiancee, Judy Delrow ), Combined Locks; Don (Lori), Kaukauna; nieces and nephews, Craig, Michel le, Scott, Tyler, Danielle, Brooke, Ben, Nate and Lydia. He is further sur vived by a close friend, Eric Bullock of Green Bay.Ken was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Dennis in 1999.Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Holy Cross Catholic Chu rch, Kaukauna with Fr. Jim Lucas officiating. Friends may call direct ly at the church from 2 p.m. Tuesday until the time of services.In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.
