- John Joseph Bruecker, 65, Nichols, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2008, at Appleton Medical Center. He was born March 5, 1943, at home in Dundas. He was the son of the late Arthur and Janet (Nytes) Bruecker. John was a graduate from Seymour High School, Class of 1961, and has driven long-haul semi since 1978. He wanted to travel and enjoyed driving.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Lynette (Coby) Arnhart, Stafford, Va.; JoEllen (Hank) Hadel, Roch, Mich.; five grandchildren, Courtney, Jason, Crystal, Ellaina and Devlin; one sister, Anna Murphy, Appleton; and two brothers and one sister-in-law, Andrew Bruecker, Seymour; and Hugh (Pamela) Bruecker, Clintonville; brother-in-law, Holbert (Gummy) Griswold, Oshkosh; nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by a sister, Alice Griswold, and his parents.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2008, for a celebration of John's life. Memorial Services will be at 7:30 p.m. with Fr. Bob Kabat officiating. Burial of his cremains will be at St Mary's Cemetery, Black Creek.
