  Seaver, Gordon H.Gordon H. Seaver, age 84, died unexpectedly, Wednesday afternoon, June 1 5, 2005. He was born March 12, 1921, to the late George and Elizabeth (Kam po) Seaver, in Appleton and grew up in Kimberly, where he graduated from h igh school. Following graduation, Gordon was employed as an electrician wi th Kimberly-Clark Corporation. He served with the U. S. Army, during Wor ld War II, in the Army Signal Corps. Following his discharge he return ed to Kimberly-Clark, where he was employed for a total of 30 years. Whi le at Kimberly-Clark he started his own business, Seaver Electric, retiri ng in 1982. Gordon was then employed by Warehouse Specialists Inc ., as an electrical contractor, for a number of years. He was a very accom plished wood carver, could fix anything, answer questions and solve any pr oblems.Gordon was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where he w as an usher, server and was involved in bible study groups, he was a 4th D egree Knights of Columbus and Past Grand Knight, a member of Golden K Kiwa nis and Catholic Knights, he volunteered at the VA Clinic and the Salvati on Army. His Christianity and the love of his family guided his life.He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and wi ll be greatly missed by his wife, Esther M. (Pankratz) Seaver, to wh om he had been married for 62 years, nine children: Carol (David) DeYoun g, Greenville; Susan Torfin, Denver, CO; Nona Seaver, Whitefish Bay; Marc ia Milhaupt, Menasha; Jeff Seaver, Wyocena, WI; Mike (Val) Seaver, Neena h; Amy Davis, Neenah; Tom (Brenda) Seaver, Clifton Park, NY; Tim Seaver, M enasha; 24 grandchildren, one great- granddaughter, a sister-in-law, Ma ry Seaver, Kimberly; and a brother-in-law, Jim (Georgiana) Pankratz, Apple ton.He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Elizabeth Seaver, h is step-father, Anton DeWildt, two sons-in-law: Paul Davis and Rick Torfi n, a brother, Jerome Seaver and his sister, Violet DeLeeuw.The funeral liturgy for Gordon will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, June 20, 2 005, at SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH, 222 East Fremont Street, Appleton, w ith Father Robert Karuhn officiating. Burial will be in St Mary Cemeter y, Appleton. Friends may call at the church from 9:30 a.m., Monday, unt il the time of the mass. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being estab lished.
