- BERNICE A. STADLER Black Creek Age 76, died Wednesday, August 11, 1999 at the Outagamie County Health Center. Bernice was born March 23, 1923 in Freedom, daughter of the late John and Ella (McCabe) Geenen. She was married June 4, 1946 to Ronald Stadler and he preceded her in death on August 11, 1999. Bernice assisted her husband, Ronald in farming on the Town of Ellington farm most of their married life, and was an avid vegetable gardener, floral gardener and had a great raspberry patch, and was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church, Mackville. She is survived by her son, Gary (Barb) Stadler, Appleton; three daughters: Bonnie (Wes) stevenson, Sr., Menasha; Joan (Richard) Klika, Menasha; and Pati (Jerry) Milheiser, Vernon, Connecticut; seven grandchildren, Eric and Andrea Stadler; Wes Jr., and Chris Stevenson; Trish Klika; Tony and Casey Milheiser; and by two great-grandchildren: Tyler Stevenson and Samantha Klika; two brothers: bob Geenen, Kaukauna; Don (Carol) Geenen, Appleton; three sisters: Coletta Bauer, Appleton; Mary (Floyd) Griesbach, Appleton; and Teresa Kemps, Kimberly. Bernice was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Marge (Louie) ... John Geenen, two brothers-in-law: Rollie Bauer and Ernie Kemps and a sister-in-law Sally Geenen. The Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Saturday, August 14, 1999 at 11 a.m. at St. Edward Catholic Church, State Highway 47, Mackville, with the Rev. Charles Brooks officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 4 until 8 p.m. with a prayer service to be held at 7:30 p.m. Friends will also be received at the church on Saturday, from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.
A memorial fund is being established in her name.
