- Dennis C. Huhn, Appleton; Age 60 p assed away suddenly on Thursday, December 7, 2000 at his home. He was bo rn on February 3, 1940 in Black Creek the son of the late Matthias and Fel icita (Kronschnabel) Huhn. On March 18, 1980 he married Rosalie Reed in Ap pleton. He was currently employed as an auto mechanic for Gustman Chevrol et in Kaukauna for the past 30 years. He was a member of St. Mary Cathol ic Church in Appleton, and was an avid Packer fan and also enjoyed bowlin g. His greatest joy in his life was his wife, children, and especially h is granchildren and great-granddaughter.His survivors include his wife Rosalie of Appleton, his children and grand children Karen (Chuck) Farah and their children Alex, Abby, and Jon Huhn a nd his daughter Michelle, all of Appleton. Mark Huhn of Menasha; Ellen Cre go and her children Llana, Emily and Jared of Coloma; Jim (Martha) Thoms on of Chesapeake, Virginia; and their children Jennifer (Brian) Buss of Ne enah; Jim Thomson Jr. of Appleton, and David Ellis of Chesapeake, Virgini a; Richard (Margaret) Thomson of Neenah and their children Richard Jr. (Am y) Thomson of Madison; Sarah Thomson of Minneapolis, and Robert, Daniel, a nd Elizabeth Thomson all of Neenah; Sue Acord of Appleton and her childr en Rick of Neenah and Michael of Appleton and her children Rick of Neen ah and Michael of Appleton, and Sue's special friend Mark Banker and Mark 's children Dylan and Taylor; Terri (Jonathan) Bartz and their children Be njamin and Kaitlin all of Appleton; and Gregg W. "Bill" (Kari) Thomson a nd their children Alli, Quinn, and Haley all of Appleton; and a great-gran ddaughter Jordon. He is also survived by his five sisters; Carole (Joe) Di ederich, Grace Bauer, Ruth (Gene) Mauer, Helen (Bob) Schifferling, Rita (G ene) Schneider, his brother Dave (Shirley) Huhn, and a sister-in-law Ma ry Huhn, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in dea th by his parents, a brother Tom Huhn, a brother-in-law Orlando Bauer, a nd a great-grandson Caleb Weber.Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 12, 2000 at 11: 00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 312 South State Street in Appleton wi th the Rev. Michael O'Rourke officiating. Internment will take place at S t. Mary Cemetery in Appleton. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Ho me on Monday from 4-8 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. un til the time of mass. Parish prayer and scripture services will be conduct ed at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being est ablished.Dennis will continue his life in others through organ donation.
