219 Good Ave., ChiltonAge 73, died on Friday, April 6, 2001, at her home in Chilton. She was bo rn on July 11, 1927, in Appleton, daughter of the late Peter and Eleanor ( Salm) Biese. She married Gilbert A. Veit on October 1, 1946, at St. Mart in Catholic Church in Charlestown. This past October they celebrated the ir 54th wedding anniversary. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Churc h, Chilton, the VFW Women's Auxiliary, and the Calumet County Homemaker s. She is survived by her husband, Gilbert; three children, Donna (Tim) Fo ster, Chilton; Darlene Veit, Champaign, Illinois; Kenneth (Diana) Veit, To mball, Texas; 11 grandchildren, Geri Ann Justinger, Amy Claren, Grant a nd Seth Foster, Erica, Jacki, and Taylor Veit, and Nick and Ben Broughto n, Rachel and Paul Cousert; four great-grandchildren, Caleb Justinger, Ev a, Christopher and Ella Claren; three sisters, Eleanor (Bob) Gebhart, Kei l; Betty (Don) Hennings, Elkhart Lake; Caroline (Clarence) Schneider, Chil ton; four brothers, Martin (Rogene) Biese, New Holstein; Kenneth (Betty) B iese, New Holstein; Clarence (Mary Jane) Biese, Chilton; Floyd (Bernice) B iese, Chilton; three sisters-in-law, Ruth Biese, New Holstein; Alvera (Leo nard) Mueller, Chilton; Alice (Veit) Kueler. She was preceded in dea th by an infant daughter, Mary; a sister, Bernice Biese; and three brother s, Richard, Robert, and Roman Biese. Funeral services will be at 3 p. m. on Monday, April 9, 2001, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton with t he Rev. Gary New S.D.S. officiating. Entombment will follow in the Knollwo od Mausoleum in Manitowoc. Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home, 4 11 W. Main St., Chilton, on Monday from 11 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at which t ime family prayers will be held. A memorial fund has been established in t he name of Dolores Veit for the Calumet County Home Health Care and Hospic e.
