- John W. Weber, Jr., Town of Vinland, Wisconsin, age 82, of the Town of Vin land, passed away, Wednesday, November 10, 2004, at home surrounded by h is family. He was born August 16, 1922, in the Town of Grand Chute to t he late John and Caroline (Blatz) Weber. John married Audrey Zeinert on Au gust 21, 1948, and together they farmed in the Town of Vinland from 1948 u ntil 1992 retiring due to failing health. John's greatest love was his fam ily and friends, farming, dancing, snowmobiling, and watching the Packer s. He was a member of St. Andrews Ev. Lutheran Church in Oshkosh; vario us national, state, and county Holstein associations; and the Dairy Herd I mprovement Association (D.H.I.A.).John is survived his wife of 56 years and caregiver, Audrey Weber, of t he Town of Vinland; devoted daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Mike Nelso n, of Oshkosh; grandchildren, Michael and Heidi Nelson, of Green Bay; Laur ie Nelson and her fiance, Brandon Cacek, of Green Bay; great-grandchildre n, Alyssa and Michael R. Nelson, of Green Bay. He is also survived by brot hers, Greg (Angie) Weber, of Fond du Lac; Ervin Weber, of Grand Chute; Jos eph Weber, of Greenville; sisters, Sally (Harold) Eichstadt, of Oshkosh; S r. Frances Weber, of Milwaukee; Thelma Ryba, of Little Chute; Irene Liebha user, of Neenah; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Donald and Mary Ann Z einert, of Neenah; Ken and Carol Zeinert, of Neenah; Edna Weber, of Menash a; an aunt, Isabelle Zeinert, of Neenah; and many nieces, and nephews.Along with his parents, John was also preceded in death by his son, Robe rt W. Weber; three brothers, Norbert, Edward, and Raymond Weber; sister-in -law, Arletta Weber; brothers-in-law, Orville Ryba, and Kenneth Liebhause r, niece, Diane Weber; and nephew, Brian Zeinert.
This obituary is in accordance to John's wishes.Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 15, 2004, at 11 a. m. at St. Andrews Ev. Lutheran Church, 1100 E. Murdock Ave. Oshkosh, wi th Pastor Karen Jewell officiating. Burial will be in the Brooks Cemete ry in the Town of Vinland. Family and friends may call on Sunday, Novemb er 14th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, Winneconne.
