  Dennis "Pete" Peters, age 61, of Brillion, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 5, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton. Pete was born on May 9, 1949, in Green Bay, son of Helen (Bacon) Peters and the late Norbert Peters. He married Cindy Aplin on May 16, 1998, in Potter, WI. Pete enlisted in the United States Army and served our country from 1967 - 1970. Upon his return from the service, he worked at the Brillion Iron Works. He was then self-employed as an owner-operator of a trucking business. Pete also worked for D & D equipment in Chilton, WI. Survivors include his wife: Cindy; his mother: Helen; his children from a previous marriage, a son: Scott Peters (Pamela); a daughter: Stacy Peters; one grandson: Cash Peters; brothers and sisters: Tom (Therese) Peters, Joy (Gary) Gilbertson, and Jill Peters (Dave "Sporty" Fesing), all of Brillion; many other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Funeral Service will be held at 12 p.m. (NOON) on Saturday, January 8, 2011, at Peace Evangelical and Reformed Church, Potter. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Marc Axelrod. Burial to follow the luncheon at Brillion Community Cemetery. Military rites will be accorded by the Becker-Bloedorn-Jensen Post 126 of Brillion. Friends and family may call at the church on Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at noon.
