  Vanevenhoven, Eloy "Red" 1004 Joyce Street, Kaukauna, Red Vanevenhoven, age 94, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2007, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. Red was born October 25, 1912, to the late Charles and Rose (Gloudeman) Vanevenhoven. He married the former Joan Murphy on June 6, 1938, in Gays Mills, Wisconsin. Joan preceded him in death on January 3, 2000. Red and Joan worked together for sixty-two years, many of them at the Hub, which is now The Prime Steer. Red was a longtime member of Holy Cross Parish. Red is survived by his children: Nancy (Milton) Marasch of Boulder, Colorado; Jan (Bob) Thomas of Green Bay; Mary (Chip) Lamers of Kaukauna; and Mike (Meg O'Brien) Vanevenhoven of Menasha; seventeen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: Dorothy Eslien of Kaukauna; Jan (Gene) Schiedermayer of Missoula, Montana; Tom (Peg) Vanevenhoven of Yuba City, California; a sister-in-law: Bernardine Tully of Gays Mills; a special friend, Marge Grissman of Kaukauna; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Red was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Joan, sisters: Valerie (Ed) Knox, Mary Lou (Jack) Lowes, and Ruth (Elmer) Vandenberg; and brothers: Robert (Vivian) Vanevenhoven and Norbert (Eleanor) Vanevenhoven. The funeral liturgy for Red will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, February 26, 2007, at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street in Kaukauna. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
