- Dorothy M. Malvitz, 79, of Forestville, passed away on October 23, 2006, at St. Mary's Hospital in Green Bay. She was born on May 25, 1927, in Little Chute, the daughter of Matthew and Mary (Van Stiphout) Van Dalen. On September 21, 1946, she married Wayne Malvitz in Green Bay.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Wayne, five children: Gary (Becky) Malvitz, Denver, CO; Ken Malvitz, Appleton; Gene Malvitz, Kansas City, MO; David (Donna) Malvitz, Craig, CO; Donna (Danny) McElroy, Callahan, FL; eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Mary Kaye, and nine brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 27, 2006, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Forestville with Rev. David Luhrs officiating. Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery, Algoma. A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2006, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Forbes Funeral Home, 319 W. Spruce St., Sturgeon Bay. Visitation will continue Friday morning at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been establish in Dorothy's name.
