- Nettekoven, Dorot hy A.Dorothy A. Nettekoven, Kaukauna, age 79, died at home surrounded by her lo ving family on Tuesday, April 4, 2006. She was born on May 26, 1926, in Me rrill, WI, daughter of the late Paul and Constance Duginski. On February 1 6, 1980, she married Jerome "Bud" Nettekoven in Appleton. Dorothy was a li fe long volunteer at nursing homes and hospitals. She was also involved wi th the American Auxiliary in Hortonville, and the Homemakers. Cooking, bak ing, crafting, and especially gardening were among her favorite activitie s.Dorothy is survived by her husband of 26 years, Bud; children: Jerry (Marg aret) Mischke of New London; Jimmy Mischke of Rhinelander; and Michelle (T im) Diedrick of Combined Locks; her grandchildren and great-grandchildre n; brothers and sisters: Myron (Carol) Duginski of Schofield; Lawrence (Ma ry) Duginski of Merrill; Ralph Duginski of Merrill; Valrene Behrens, and H elen (Ted) Kolka of Merrill. She is further survived by her stepchildre n: Brian (Kelly) Nettekoven, Brenda (Matt) Elliott, and David (special fri end, Leah Juhnke) Nettekoven.She is preceded in death by her first husband, James Mischke; children, Ca rol Ann Mischke and Terry Jean Herber.The funeral liturgy will be at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2006, at HO LY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer St., Kaukauna, with Fr. Jack Mullar key officiating. Friends will be received at the church from 2 p.m. unt il the time of the service.
