- John E. Landreman, Kaukauna, age 77, died Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at home. He was born on October 2, 1934 in Kaukauna, son of the late Robert and Hyacinth (Dogot) Landreman. John was united in marriage to the former Marilyn Verheyen on February 10, 1962 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Hollandtown. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. John was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish at St. Aloysius Church. He was employed by the Jung Shoe Company where he was a traveling shoe sales representative in Michigan and Wisconsin until his retirement. John enjoyed golfing, playing cribbage, cooking, and dining out. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Besides his loving wife of 50 years, Marilyn, he is survived by his two daughters: Vicki (Bruce) Kobussen, Kaukauna and Valerie (Carl) Rodriguez, Woodbury, MN; his grandchildren: Tony and Kurt Kobussen, Tyler, Jenna and Lauren Rodriguez; a brother, Larry (Maureen) Landreman; sisters-in-law: Ruby Landreman, Joan Landreman, Jan (Landreman) Matuszek, and Pat (Fred) Schuette; brothers-in-law: Bill (Lois) Verheyen, Roger (Judy) VanEperen, Glenn (Vanessa) Verheyen; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Dolores Landreman, brothers: George, Bill, Jim, and Gregory Landreman; sisters-in-law: Audrey Landreman and Dolores VanEperen; and a brother-in-law, Jack Haen.
A Memorial Mass for John will be at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, June 4, 2012 at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH at ST. ALOYSIUS CHURCH, 2401 Main Av, Kaukauna with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Friends will be received on Monday directly at church from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established. www.boettcherfamilyfuneral.com
