- Frances Boehme, Delavan, WI, age 95, passed away early Sunday at her home on October 11, 2009. Frances was the daughter of Theodore and Georgina (Vander Velden) van Oudenhoven. She born in Blaisedale, North Dakota, moved to and resided in Kimberly until her marriage to Arthur Boehme of Appleton, WI, in 1933. In 1958 Frances moved to Delavan where she and her husband owned and operated the Club Shamrock on North Shore Dr. until 1968. They then moved to South Shore Dr. and semi-retired. She was very active in the churches that she attended.
Frances is survived by her daughter, Bonnie (Dan) Sullivan of Bradenton, FL; 1 son, Noris (Joan) Boehme of Johnson Creek, WI; 6 grandchildren: Dan (Joy) Sullivan, Tim Sullivan, Mary (Mike) Riley of Oxford, WI, Kathy (Rick) Chaney, Resa (Dave) Wronski, James (Rose) Sullivan; 5 step-grandsons: David Schoettel, John (Susie) Schoettel, Frank (Sandee) Schoettel, Carl (Nancy) Schoettel, Michael (Mary) Schoettel; 16 great- grandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; 4 step-great-great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Vera Boehme; also nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at ST. ANDREWS CATHOLIC CHURCH in Delavan with Fr. Walter Boehme officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service at the Church. Burial will be at a later date at St. Andrews Cemetery in Delavan. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to St. Andrews Catholic Church, Aurora VNA Hospice. MON-ROE FUNERAL HOME, Delavan, is assisting the family.
