- Dennis Henry Biese, age 61, of Kimberly, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2014, at Appleton Medical Center. Dennis was born on February 7, 1953 in Appleton, to Donald Biese and Shirley (Coenen) Carlson. He married Susan Dake on October 12, 1973, in Kimberly. He was a loving husband, son, father, brother and uncle. Dennis was employed at Appleton Papers for 42 years. He was well-known for his love of life and his generous sense of humor. Dennis enthusiastically played and coached his adult baseball and basketball teams for many years, as well as coaching youth sports teams. Dennis also enjoyed fishing and especially the time spent at Enchanted Forest for over two decades.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Susan; his sons, Jared (friend Becky Kroll) and Curtis; his brothers and sisters, Deborah Sutton, Nancy Biese, Cheryl Wydeven, Mary (Dan) Fritz, Kay (Donn) Golden, David (Ann) Biese, Lori (Barney) Lopas, Joyce Biese and Patricia Canter. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Dennis was preceded in death by his brother Mark and his sister Janet Riesterer; his step-father, Norman Carlson; his brothers-in-law, Butch Sutton and Leon Probst; and his nephew, Tommy Sutton.
There will be a Memorial Visitation on Thursday, October 23, 2014, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the JANSEN FARGO FUNERAL HOME, 204 East Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly. There will also be a Celebration of Dennis' Life on Friday, October 24th, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Tanners, 730 S. Railroad Street, Kimberly. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Dennis' name. Online condolences may be offered at www.wichmannfargo.com
