- Joseph Hopfensperger Rt. 4, Appleton Age 68, passed away Tuesday morning after a long illness. He was born in the Town of Buchanan January 10, 1901. He operated a farm in the Town of Harrison until his retirement in 1967. He was a member of the Catholic Knights. He is survived by his wife Marie; his mother, Mrs. Petronella (Nellie) Hopfens- perger,Rt. 4, Appleton;three daughters, Mrs. Carl (Marion) Buchinger, Rt. 3, Kaukauna; Miss Lucy Hopfensperger and Miss Mary Hopfensperger, at home; two sons, Edward and Roger, at home, four brothers, Richard, Reynold and Earl, all of Rt. 4. Appleton; Elmer, Rt. 4. Kaukauna; four sisters, Mrs. Otto (Lucy) Lemke, Mrs. Robert (Blanche) Lehrer, Neenah; Mrs. Alois (Carmen) Thiel, Rt. 1, Menasha; Mrs. Molly Coffey, Milwaukee; 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 am. Friday from Holy Angels Catholic Church, Darboy. Interment in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday at the Greenwood Funeral Home, Kaukauna. The parish rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m Thursday.
