- DeBruin, Marvin John "MarMarvin John "Marv" De Bruin, age 84, of Oshkosh died at Bethel Home on Fri day, December 2, 2005. He was born in Little Chute on March 16, 1921, to N icholas and Antoniette (Francken) De Bruin. On August 19, 1944, he marri ed Elnora Ann Becker. Marvin loved fishing and bowling. He was very knowle dgeable and personable. He owned and operated Marv's TV Service.He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Elnora; children: David (Kare n) De Bruin of Fond du Lac, James (Sheila) De Bruin of Oshkosh, Kathryn (K eith) Butkiewicz of Berlin, and Richard De Bruin of Omro; grandchildren: C hristopher (Heather) Butkiewicz, Michael De Bruin, Robert De Bruin, Troy ( Kay) De Bruin, and Kevin De Bruin; and great-grandchildren: Zachary De Bru in, Emily De Bruin, Tristin Butkiewicz, Kalista Butkiewicz, and Gerek De B ruin. His sisters, Margaret (Francis) Reed and Bernice (Russell) Hacker fu rther survive him.Marvin's parents; brothers: Leverne and Clayton; and sisters: Joyce Longsine and Lucille De Bruin, preceded him in death.Funeral services for Marvin will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Decemb er 5, 2005, at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, F r. William Van De Kreeke officiating. A time of visitation and support wi ll be held at the Seefeld Funeral Chapel from 10 a.m. until the time of t he service.A very special thanks to the staff at Bethel Home, especially the nurses a nd caregivers on 2 West, for the care and compassion given to Marvin and h is family.
