- Clyde H. Roche, of Appleton, age 90, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2015. He was born June 25, 1925, on the family farm, in Freedom, WI, to Walter and Mary (Garvey) Roche.
Clyde is survived by his son, David Roche; daughters, Mary (Aaron) Froh, Ellen Lehman (special friend Bob Paul) and Linda (Jerry) Jorgensen; grandchildren, Ben and Sam Roche, Vancouver, WA, Jennifer Fryer, Portland, OR, and Felicia and Aaron Froh, Milwaukee, WI; and three great-grandchildren: Jack, Henry, and Owen Fryer, Portland, OR.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Erdine (Sauer); daughter, Jacquelin; sisters, Corrine and Helen; and brothers, Kenneth, Robert, John, and Joseph.
Clyde was in the army during World War II and was stationed in Zell am See, Austria. After the war, dad returned home and stated working at Thilmany Pulp and Paper Co in Kaukauna, WI. Clyde retired after 40 years of service. He enjoyed traveling in the US and Europe.
The funeral will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at St. Therese Catholic Church in Appleton, WI, with the Father Bill Hoffman officiating. The visitation will be on Tuesday, July 21, 2015, from 9:00 AM until the time of Mass at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in St. Nicholas Catholic Cemetery in Freedom, WI.
