- Karls, Norman J.Norman J. Karls, age 94, of 810 Memorial Drive, died on Thursday, May 4, 2 006, at the Chilton Care Center. He was born March 19, 1912, in Jericho, s on of the late Anton and Gertrude (Pauly) Karls. Norman married Hildega rd Mullenbach on April 10, 1934, at St. Charles Catholic Church in Charles burg. She preceded him in death on December 13, 2003. He and his wife farm ed in the Town of Brothertown.Norman was a member of Good Shepherd Parish, formally Holy Trinity in Jeri cho, Eagles Club #1288, Catholic Family, Hi Hopes Homemakers, and former s upervisor of the Town of Brothertown for many years. He loved playing ca rd games such as skat, sheepshead, and samba and was in many card clubs.Survivors include his children: Donald (special friend Elaine) Karls of Ch ilton, Doris (Art) Moehn of Stockbridge, Shirley (Bob) Jost of Hartford, K en (Judy) Karls of Chilton, and Gary (Janine) Karls; 15 grandchildre n; 22 great-grandchildren; a brother, John Karls; and a sister-in-law, Mar ie Karls.He also was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Judy Karls; five siste rs and two brothers.Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, May 8, 2006, at Good She pherd Parish in Chilton. Burial will be in Jericho at 2:30 p.m. Friends m ay call at Wieting Family Funeral Home from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, M ay 7, 2006, and on Monday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. wh en family prayers will be held. A parish vigil service will be held at 7 p .m. on Sunday evening at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been establ ished in the name of Norman J. Karls.The family of Norman would like to thank the staff of Century Ridge for a ll their loving care given to Dad over the last four years and Chilton Ca re Center for the past two weeks.
