- Francis "Frank" E. Sack , Menasha
Loving husband, father, brother and grandfather, age 55, died on Sunday, May 25, 2003. Francis was born in Appleton, on October 2, 1947, son of the late Augustav and Gladys Arnoldussen Sack. He was a very decorated veteran, serving 2 tours of duty in Vietnam and earning 2 purple hearts and a bronze star. On June 6, 1981, Francis married Diane Van Linn, and they have enjoyed over 21 years of marriage together. Francis was a member of the Christian Life Center, where he was recently baptized. He was also an avid Union supporter and worker. Francis spent his last day fishing at his property with his wife, sons, daughter and grandchildren. He loved to cook and was an excellent chef. Francis will be greatly missed by his wife, Diane; his 5 children, Timothy; Dennis; Angela and her son, Braxton; Bradley Farran and their children, Devon and Lillian; Elizabeth; 8 brothers and sisters, Richard Deb, Colorado; Roger Carrie, Nevada; Rita LaRue, Colorado; David and friend, Carol Bourquin, Minnesota; Janet Jeff Spaulding, Park Falls, Wisconsin; Sandra Rowdy Darnell, Colorado; Mark, Wisconsin; Robert, Colorado; grandson, Dylon Holsten and his mother and dear friend of the family, Sabrina Holsten; father and mother-in-law, Edward Delaine Van Linn; sister-in-law, Pat Robert Moss; and brothers-in-law, Dan Van Linn and friend Kathy Keane; Douglas Terri; Allan Rachelle; and Tony Pauline. The memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, May 29, 2003 at CHRISTIAN LIFE CENTER, 670 North Green Bay Road, Neenah, with Rev. John Bridges officiating. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 28 from 4 until 7 p.m., and again at the church on Thursday from 10 until 10:45 a.m.
