  See Image Richard Powers Dead; Richard Powers of Buchanan died Saturday morning, the funeral was held at the Hollandtown church Tuesday forenoon. Mr. Powers was one of the earliest settlers of the town and was highly esteemed by all, he leaves a wife and 3 children besides a host of friends. Appleton Post Crescent 04/22/1893 Richard Powers, of Buchanan, who died last Sunday, was buried Tuesday and his funeral was attended by a number from Appleton. He was about 70 years of age and had resided in this county 35 years.
