- Vogt, Vivian M.Age 84, a resident of Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc, who forme rly resided on the family farm, with her son and daughter-in-law, Dennis a nd Rachel Vogt at 5231 Center Road, Manitowoc, entered into eternal re st on Monday, January 20, 2003 at Shady Lane.Funeral services will be Thursday, January 23, 2003 at 11 a.m. at John E v. Lutheran Church, Newtonburg. Rev. Victor Headrick will officiate with b urial to follow in St. John Cemetery, Newtonburg.Vivian was born February 11, 1918 in Greenville, Wisconsin to the late Jo hn and Bertha Manteufel Kluess. She graduated from Appleton High Scho ol in 1936. She then graduated from Beauty Culture School and work ed as a beautician in Neenah for several years. On September 29, 1945 s he married Roland Vogt in Appleton. Mr. Vogt preceded her in death Octob er 10, 1983. She was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, St. John 's Ladies Aid and the Homemakers Club.Survivors include four children: Sharon (Scott) Metskas, Stevens Point; Ju nelle Vogt-Moritz, Dennis (Rachel) Vogt and Bev. (Russ) Glaeser, all of Ma nitowoc; a brother, Erwin Kluess, Minnesota; six grandchildren: Amanda Met skas, Rebecca and Lindsey Moritz, Reuben and Grace Voft, Timothy (Nicol e) Glaeser; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Kluess, Minnesota; also other relativ es and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, a br other and two sisters.Friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Cremation Cente r, 628 N. Water Street, Manitowoc, Wednesday 4-8 p.m. and Thursday at S t. John Ev. Lutheran Church, 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a. m. Memorials appreciated to St. John Ev.
