- Mrs. R. Powers died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Annie O'Connell Thurs day Nov 2, and was buried the following Saturday the funeral taking pla ce at St. Mary's church. She was over 80 years old and had been a reside nt of this city for about 6 years, coming fron Holland(town), shortly aft er the death of her husband, where she had made her home for over 40 year s. She is survived by 3 daughters and 2 sons. The internment was at West H olland.

Mrs R. Powers for about six years a resident of this city, died at the ho me of her daughter, Mrs Anna O'Connell, on Thursday and was buried from S t. Mary's Church, Saturday. The deceased was about 81 years of age and h ad been in poor health for about one year. She leaves three daughters a nd two sons, all married. Mrs. Powers was one of the old settlers at Holla nd, having resided there between forty and fifty years, coming to this ci ty after the death of her husband, to make her home with her daughter. Int ernment was made at St. Francis Church in West Holland.
