- Holland - Monday July 2, Wilbert Kempen aged 79 years 4 months. Born in Ne therlands at Mill where he lived until 1848, a year later he married Ardi na VandeHey who went to her eternal reward 7 years ago. 5 sons 1 daughte r, William, John, George, Peter, Henry and Mrs Henry Kirkhoff. In 1865 enl isted in the army and served as a private until the war ended, in 1877 ele cted county clerk for Calumet.
