- See Image Micke, Raymond W.Raymond W. Micke, Brillion, was united with his Heavenly Father, at a ge 84 on Monday, Dec. 1, 2003. He was born on Aug. 27, 1919, to the late H enry B. and Josephine (Haen) Micke in Forest Junction. Ray married the for mer Rosella Vandenberg on Oct. 24, 1942, at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Chur ch; she survives. Ray and Rose celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary t his past October. Ray was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Ar my from 1942 until 1945. He was a dairy farmer and worked at Kimberly Cla rk mill and Schmidt Barn Equipment. Ray enjoyed his family very much, th ey meant everything to him. He enjoyed card playing, picnics and raising s weet corn.Ray is survived by his wife, Rose; their six sons and daughters-in-law, Ri chard (Nancy), Wrightstown; Donald (Mary), Brillion; Kenneth (Dorothy), Br illion; Alan (Tessie), Greenleaf; Dale (Nancy), Plover; and Dennis (Linda ), Kaukauna. He is further survived by 18 grandchildren and five great-gra ndchildren. Ray will also be missed by a brother, Leo (friend, Cordell Hur st) Micke, Kaukauna; a sister, Rosella VanderHeiden, Kaukauna; four sister s-in-law, Gladys Micke, Wrightstown; Julie (friend, Ralph Mader) Micke, Br illion; Eunice (friend, Joe Vanden Elzen) Mertens, Green Bay; and Lilli an (Clarence) Neumeyer, Manitowoc; a stepfather-in -law, Robert Leidel, Gr een Bay; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.Ray was preceded in death by five brothers, Anton, Francis, Edward, Norbe rt and Gilbert; three sisters, Helen, Anna and Veronica Jacobs; four broth ers-in-law, Melvin Vandenberg, Raymond Jacobs, Clayton VanderHeiden and Er nie Mertens; two sisters-in-law, Josephine Micke and Ceil Micke; and fo ur grandchildren.The Mass of the Resurrection will be 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 4, at ST. F RANCIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, Hollandtown with Fr. Jack Mullarky officiating. Fr iends will be received on Wednesday (TODAY) at the Boettcher Family Funer al Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna, from 4 p.m. until the 7:30 pray er service again on Thursday at Church from 10 a.m. until the time of serv ice. Burial will follow services in the Parish Cemetery with Military Buri al Rites.
