- This week the Hall of Fame presents another member of the senior class, Lorraine Powers. Lorraine has no certain hobbies but enjoys dancing very much. She has taken a complete commercial course and would fill the requirements for the position of any office on graduation in June.

- See Image Powers-Damro, Lorraine 1 08 W. 14th St. KaukaunaAge 79, died Monday, October 15, 2001 at home with her family and frien ds at her side following a courageous 1 year battle with cancer. She was b orn August 5, 1922 in Kaukauna; daughter of the late William and Thelma (R oberts) Powers. Lorraine enjoyed golfing, bowling, traveling and goi ng to the casino and cooking for others. Her life was her dog, Muffin. S he was employed at the office at Thilmany Pulp and Paper for 46 years. S he was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Kaukauna and the Thilma ny Quarter Century Club. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Ly nn (John) Tuttle, Somerset, Wisconsin; a son and daughter-in-law, Dan (Shi rley) Domro, Menasha; two grandsons: Jeff (Wendy) Domro, Combined Locks; J im Domro, Menasha; two great-grandchildren, Dillan and Taylor Domro, Combi ned Locks; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Sherman (Patty) Powers, Dent on, Texas; Dick (Marie) Powers, Appleton; Wilfred (Joan) Powers, Kaukaun a. She is further survived by a special cousin, Marilyn (Kenneth) Tease, K aukauna; special friends, Grace Hanby and Cal DeBruin; and many nieces, ne phews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ke nneth Powers, Joseph Powers, Kenneth Powers; and a sister, Mary Zirbe l. A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday at St. Aloysius Cat holic Church, Kaukauna with Fr. David Schmidt officiating. Friends may ca ll directly at the church from 3 p.m. Wednesday until the time of service s. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Theda Ca re Hospice, the American Cancer Society and the Outagamie County Humane So ciety. Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna is assisting the family.The family would like to express their appreciation and thanks to Dr. Anth ony Phillips and staff and Theda Care Hospice Staff: Kathy, Lisa, Suzi, Ly nn, Kelly, Samantha and Sheila.
