- Larry A. Knuth, age 58, of Hortonville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 11, 2007. He was born on November 8, 1948, in Wisconsin Rapids, son of the late Harold & Ruth (Jackson) Knuth. On November 13, 1971, he married Susan Apfelbeck in Wisconsin Rapids. Larry graduated from Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids. Following high school, he served his country with the U.S. Army. He was a plant supervisor with General Chemical in Menasha, being employed there for over 35 years. Larry loved his family, his cats, gardening and his job. He was a member of the Appleton Alliance Church.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sue; a daughter: Kelli Knuth, Appleton; a son Mike (Lisa) Knuth, Appleton; three brothers: Jerry (Marilyn) Knuth, Plover; Randy (Shelley) Knuth and Ron Knuth, both of Wisconsin Rapids; four sisters: Kathy (Chuck) Sedevie, Sandy Knuth, Sue Knuth, all of Wisconsin Rapids; Mary (Tom) Evanson, Rudolph. Brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends further survive him.
His parents preceded him in death.
The funeral service for Larry will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2007, at noon at the Appleton Alliance Church (2693 W. Grand Chute Blvd.) with Rev. Dennis Episcopo officiating. Burial will be in Dale Union Cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
