  Gene Weber, 83, passed away Saturday morning, June 16, 2007, at St. Paul Home in Kaukauna. He was born in Mercer, Wis., on May 6, 1924, son of the late Henry and Regina (Dworak) Weber. On June 12, 1945, the former Joan Staska became his bride at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in Green Bay. For over 30 years, the couple operated a 120-acre dairy farm near Denmark, retired in 1982, and relocated to Kaukauna to be near his daughter and her family. In 2005, Gene and Joan celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Gene is survived by his wife of 62 years, Joan Weber, Kaukauna; a daughter, Catherine (Ed) Jakl, Kaukauna; three grandchildren, Rebecca (Shad) Bosmans and their children, Hannah and Alex Brittnacher; Aaron and Amanda and her husband, Kelly. The funeral liturgy for Gene will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at ST. MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 119 W. 7th Street in Kaukauna, with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Interment will be in All Saints Catholic Cemetery in Denmark. Friends may call directly at the church on Tuesday, from 3 p.m. until the hour of the service. FARGO FUNERAL HOME 400 W.
