The Rev Finian Zaucha, OFM will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial with burial at St Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, Maple Grove. Tillie was born Oct 11, 1901 at Whitelaw, daughter of the late Anton and Theresa Pritzl Schamburek. She married Simon J Strauss, April 28, 1925 at St Michael's Catholic Church, Whitelaw. Simon preceded her in death Oct 1, 1962. After coming to Manitowoc in 1962, she was employed at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center. She was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church, Manitowoc, St Mary's Rosary and Altar Society and sang in the funeral choir. Tillie is survived by five daughters and sons-in-law; Evelyn (Harold) Kummer, Lorraine (Paul) Erdmann, Rita (Clifford) Maule, Shirley (Frederick) Richmond, all of Manitowoc, and LaVerne (Myron) Schettl, Oronoco, Mich.; 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, three sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Simon, she was predeceased by a brother, John A Schamburek and a sister Rose Geiger. She was born in 1900, in the Town of Schleswig, and married John Pritzl in 1924. He preceded her death in 1966. Survivors include five sons, Norbert, John and Edward of rural Cato, Paul of Manitowoc and Donald of Francis Creek: a step-son. Othmar Pritzl of rural Whitelaw; seven daughters, Mrs. Bernard (Marie) Schermetzler, Mrs. Roger (Anna Mae) Cornils Mrs. LeRoy (Eunice) Beilke, Mrs. Robert (Monica) Herzog and Mrs. Ronald (Kathryn) Krupski of Manitowoc, Mrs. David (Geraldine) Brouchoud of New Berlin and Mrs. Howard (Suzanne) Zimmerman of rural Manitowoc: two step-daughters, Mrs. Edward (Agatha) Leist of Route 2, Reedsville and Mrs. Joe (lrene) Oswald of Whitelaw; two brothers, Herman Strauss of Route 1. Rev. John Conrad will officiate with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Pritzl was born January 5, 1928, in the Town of Cato, son of the late John and Mary Strauss Pritzl. He attended St. Mary School, Clarks Mills, and the farm short course at U.W.-Madison. Mr. Pritzl was presently employed with Bahr Construction. He was a member of Clarks Mills Sportsmens Club, Valders American Legion and St. Mary's Holy Name Society.
