- Heilman, Lorraine M. (Steger), Kaukauna, Lorraine M. Heilman (Steger), age 92, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2011. She was born on December 6, 1918 in Kaukauna, daughter of the late Joseph Sr. and Anna (Christensen) Steger. Lorraine was united in marriage to Carl W. Heilman on August 10, 1946 in Kaukauna, he preceded her in death on December 16, 2002. She worked for Zwicker Knitting Mills, retiring to take on the adventure of traveling with Carl to many places. Lorraine enjoyed cooking and baking, especially for the Christmas Holiday for both families.
She is survived by her sister, Marian Lambie, Kaukauna; sisters-in-law, Betty Jane Steger, Kaukauna and Darlene Steger, Appleton and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, an infant sister, Anna, brother and sister-in-law, Don (Harriet) Steger, sister and brother-in-law, Betty (Art) Deeg; brothers: Joseph and Robert Steger, and a brother-in-law, Stanley Lambie, as well as many members of the Heilman family.
Funeral Service's for Lorraine will be at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 22, 2011 at PEACE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 2300 Wisconsin Ave., Kaukauna with Rev. Timothy Albrecht officiating. Friends will be received directly at church on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established. Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna is assisting the family. 766-2099.
