- Earl Romenesko, A Mass of Christian burial will be offered for Earl H. Romenesko at 10:00 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Minneiska, with Rev. Edward McGrath offi ciating. Burial will be in the Fort Snelling National cemetery in Minneapolis, with military graveside rites by the Fort Snelling memorial rifle sq uad. Mr. Romenesko, 71, of Brownsville, Texas, formerly of Weaver and Cot tage Grove, Minn., died Sunday February 26th, 1995, at Valley Regional Med ical Center in Brownsville. Born July 18th, 1923, in Weaver, he work ed on the Railroad in Montana in the early 1940's and served in the Navy d uring World War II. After his discharge, he worked for Armour Meat Packi ng Company in South St. Paul until the plant closed and then was employ ed by the A R A Food Service until his retirement in 1988. He married Viv ian Villman Harer in 1957. She died in 1985. Mr. Romenesko was a memb er of the Moose Lodge in South St. Paul. Survivors include three daughter s, Alice (Mrs. Timothy) Duncanson, of Inver Grove Heights, Minn., Leona (M rs. Donald) Wade of Weatherford, Texas, and Barbara (Mrs. Patrick) Barke r, of Beaver Creek, Ohio; a son, Earl James of Cascade, Montana; two stepd aughters, Judy (Mrs. Paul) Schintz of South St. Paul and Carol Willia ms of Hastings, Minn.; two stepsons, Douglas Harer of Cottage Grove and Mi chael Harer of St. Paul; eight grandchildren; nine step grandchildren; a nd three sisters, Alice Fairchild of Center City, Minn., Helen (Mrs. Ed) L ang of Winona and Elsie Heaser of Weaver. Friends May call from 3:00 p. m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Abbott funeral Home in Wabasha and an hour bef ore the service Friday at the church.
