Jim w as born on April 16, 1957 to the late Hubert and Lois (Vanderhieden) Menti ng in Appleton. He served our country in the Armed Forces. Jim is surviv ed by his girlfriend, Brenda of 15 years, his dog Shadow, siblings: Deb ra Menting, Gary (Jennifer) Menting, Thomas Menting, Mark Menting, Patri ck Menting, Barbara (Russ) Pride, Karen (Jerry) Kelly, Kristie Menting, Ja net (Jeff) Knutson, Paula Menting, and Michelle Menting.He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael and by his parents. Funer al Services will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2003at 4:00 p.m. with Pas tor Charles Valenti-Hein officiating at the funeral home.
