  Gaylord S. Bricco, died Tuesday, March 8, 2011. He was born April 7, 1927, to the late Simon and Evelyn (Thebo) Bricco in Bear Creek, Wis. On Sept. 9, 1950, he married Adeline (Pruess) at St. Mary's Church in Bear Creek. She preceded him in death on Oct. 18, 1996. Gaylord joined the Merchant Marines at the age of 16 and then joined the Marine Corps a few years later during World War II. He was a proud member of the Teamsters Union and drove over 8 million miles for Schneider National with over 40 years of service. Gaylord was an avid Packer fan and a season ticket holder. He loved camping, fishing and hunting. Survivors include two sons, Dennis (Christine) Bricco, New Franken; Darrel (Ellen), Green Bay; one daughter, Darlene Bricco, Green Bay; a special friend, Dorothy Hanstead; seven grandchildren, Holly, Andrea, Alex, Zachary (Stacy), Hannah, Emma, Joseph; seven great- grandchildren, Saige, James, Brandon, Kylie, Marshall, Damien, D'Artagnan; one brother, "Sib" Bricco; one sister, Delores (Glen) Zehern. In addition to his parents and wife, Gaylord was preceded in death by his sisters, June Kaczmarek and Vivian Bricco; brother, Ivan Bricco and sister-in-law, Audrey Bricco. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, March 10, at Lyndahl Funeral Home. Visitation will continue at Lyndahl Funeral Home on Friday, March 11, after 10 a.m. where a funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. with Chaplain Robert Nooker presiding with Military Honors to follow.
