- Popp, Ruth C.Ruth C. Popp, New London, 87, passed away on Friday, Dec. 2, 2005, at S t. Joseph Residence in New London. Ruth was born on September 22, 191 8, in Wittenberg, daughter of the late Robert and Margaret (Bessette) Feav el. Ruth worked at Banta's in Menasha for 30 years. Ruth loved to trave l. She was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church.She is survived by a brother Lee Feavel, Winneconne; two sisters: Lula Ben der, Wausau; Daila (Clinton) Platte, New London. She is further surviv ed by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond, a brother Russe ll and a sister Marie.Funeral services for Ruth will be held on Monday, Dec. 5, 2005, at 10:30 a .m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London with Fr. David Le wis officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may ca ll at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London on Sunday, Dec. 4, 200 5, (TODAY) from 3 to 7 p.m., where a 6:30 p.m. prayer service will be hel d. Friends may also call directly at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. u ntil the time of service.A memorial fund has been established for Most Precious Blood Catholic Chur ch.Our dearest "Ruthie" has gone home to be with Jesus and her loved ones. Al though she never had any children, she was a wonderful "Mom" and Grand ma to so many of us, giving of her self many times over.
