- Beverly J. Houle, Appleton, age 55, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2007, at her home in Appleton. Beverly was born on October 25, 1952, in Appleton, the daughter of Don "Bud" and Armella "Connie" (Kons) Ballard. Beverly graduated from Appleton East High School in 1971. She worked as a caregiver for an in home care establishment and also for the Appleton YMCA, where she had many friends, especially her good friend, Terri. Beverly had a passion for working outdoors in her garden and had a green thumb for plants. She also enjoyed shopping at local thrift stores, playing Scrabble, watching Packer games and different court television programs like "Judge Judy" and keeping up with the latest news in the celebrity lifestyles.
Beverly is lovingly survived by her mother, Armella "Connie" Ballard; her children: Chris (Becky) Bellis, Dale; Jason (Donna) Bellis, Appleton; Leah Bellis, Appleton; grandchildren: Celia and Ava; brother, Joseph (Linda) Ballard; sister, Valerie (Gary) DuChateau and many nieces and nephews. Beverly is further survived by her extended family: Mom, "Myrtle" Bellis, Cindy and Bud Bellis.
Beverly was preceded in death by her father, Don "Bud" Ballard, whose birthday we celebrate on the same day as Beverly's passing. We are comforted in knowing Beverly is with her father on his special day. Beverly's family would also like to extend their thanks and love to Beverly's special friends, Ben "Elvis" Houle, Marianne and Linda.
Funeral Services for Beverly will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2007, at 6 p.m. at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior Street, Appleton, with Chaplain Jordan Kuczwara officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of service.
