  Christine L. Noie, 85, of Kenosha, died Saturday (Dec. 30, 2000) at Hospit ality Manor. Born June 2, 1915, in Shawnee, Okla., she was the daught er of the late John B. and Ada Lee (Elliott) Hill. She attended schoo ls in Shawnee and in Chicago, moving to Kenosha from Chicago in 1947. On N ov. 19, 1951, she married John J. Noie in Kenosha. He preceded her in dea th on June 22, 1989. For 23 years she was employed with the Society for t he Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in Americ a, where she served as executive secretary, retiring in 1979. She was pa st president of the Quota Club, past chairperson of the Womans Club, form er secretary and soloist for the Shubert Club, former board member for t he Kenosha Symphony League, co-founder of the Kenosha Choral Society, form er board member for the Meridian House, and was a former officer and actre ss with the Kenosha Little Theatre. She is survived by a son, John J. No ie Jr. of Tomah; three daughters, Janice (Thomas) Czarnecki of Kenosha, Ba rbara Caprata and Carlyn Richardson, both of Moscow, Tenn.; nine grandchil dren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parent s, her husband, a brother, Floyd Hill, and a grandson. The Piasecki-Altha us Funeral Home, 2002 52nd St., is in charge of arrangements.
