  See Image Van Abel, Mary H.Surrounded by her loving family, Mary, 101, St. Paul Manor, Kaukauna, di ed on Monday, Jan. 28, 2002, at the Appleton Medical Center. Mary was bo rn in Hollandtown, on Mar. 27, 1900, daughter of the late William and An na (Glasheen) Campbell. In 1928, Mary married Bert Van Abel in Hollandtow n; Bert preceded her in death in 1946. Many will remember Mary as a dedica ted and devout Christian woman who dedicated her entire life to the instru ction of the young and the raising of her own family. She attended the Out agamie County Normal School and taught elementary school first in Hollandt own and later at Sybil Hoppe School in Green Bay until the time of her ret irement.Survivors include two sons, Tom (Jacquelyn) Van Abel and Jim (Marlene) V an Abel, both of Kaukauna; six grandchildren, Gary (Elizabeth) Van Abel a nd their children, Carolyn, Mary and Michael; Dick (Sue) Van Abel and the ir sons, Luke and John; Karen (Joe) Meyer and their children, Leah, Lau ra and Bryan; Mark (Kim) Van Abel and their daughter, Lauren; Amy (Bill) S arles and their daughters, Molly, Megan and Emily; Craig (Mary) Van Abel a nd their sons, Joshua and Nicholas.Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bert in 1946; brot hers, Maurice (Hazel) Campbell, Alban (Rachel) Campbell, Harold Campbel l, Howard (Gertrude) Campbell and Willard Campbell; and by sisters, Winifr ed (Charles) Joyce, Olive (John) Milton, Sadie Campbell and Ruth (Tom) Cam pbell.The funeral liturgy for Mary will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, F eb. 1, 2002, at ST. FRANCIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, Hollandtown, with Fr. Jack Mu llarkey officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
