  Jacob Rank, 68, died at his home in this city Monday after an illness of many months. Mr. Rank was born in Franklin, Manitowoc County, where he spent his youth. He resided for a number of years in Brillion and married Miss Catherine Binsfeld of Belgium, who died in 1904. Mr. Rank lived for some time at Hilbert and for the past eighteen years has lived in this city. He married Mrs. Christine Jagdfeld in 1908, who preceded him in death two years ago. Survivors are one son, Frank, of this city and three daughters, Mrs. Willis Young, Omro; Mrs. Herbert Rasmussen, Oshkosh; and Mrs. Veronica Lesselyoung, this city; fourteen grandchildren; five brothers and four sisters. The funeral was held this morning from St. Mary's church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. H. E. Hunck officiated. Mr. Rank was a charter member of the Brillion branch of Catholic Knights of Wisconsin. Chilton Times - November 15, 1934
