  George A. Schmitt, 119 W. Ninth St., Kaukauna, Age 91, died Wednesday at his home. He was born July 14, 1889, in Kaukauna, and had been a lifelong resident. Mr. Schmitt was employed as a stone mason and brick layer with construction companies throughout the Valley. He was a member of Kaukauna VFW Post 3319, American Legion Post 41, and was a World War I Army Veteran, serving in France. Survivors include nieces and nephews; grandnieces and grandnephews; and many cousins. The funeral will be at 12 noon Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Kaukauna, with the Rev. Gary Dantine officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Greenwood Funeral Home, Kaukauna, after 7 p.m. Friday and after 11 a.m. Saturday until the hour of service. There will be a prayer service at 8 p.m. Friday.
