- Mrs. Joseph Kuborn, Sr., 74, of 733 W. Kimberly avenue, Kimberly, died at 6:15 a.m. today at her home after a long illness. She was born April 22, 1885, in West DePere. She was a charter member of the Christian Mothers society of Holy Name Catholic church, Kimberly. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at Holy Name church, with burial in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday at the Jansen Funeral home, Kimberly, where the rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. She is survived by her widower; four daughters, Mrs. Douglas Kaufman, Neenah, Mrs. Lester Newhouse, Kaukauna, Mrs. Norman Schein, Sheboygan, and Sister Mary Matthew, Holy Name convent, Racine; two sons, Wilbur, Appleton, and Gordon, Kimberly; a brother, John Verkuilen, Canada; four sisters, Mrs. Theresa Jannssen, Kaukauna, Mrs. Nellie Heesakkers, West DePere, Mrs. Martha Vanden Brand, Marinette, and Mrs. Velia Schmiedel, Milwaukee; 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
