  Becher, Thomas R. Roseburg, Oregon. Age 49. Born on August 7, 1963 to Joseph (deceased) and Leila (Lee) Becher. He passed away on August 4th while hiking in the Cascades suffering a fatal heart attack. He spent his working years with the U.S. Forestry and the Oregon Dept. of Fish & Wildlife. He is survived by his mother, sisters: Mary Jo Isely (John) and Margaret Gompper; niece: Kate Isely; nephews: Patrick Isely and Matthew Gompper plus aunts, uncles and cousins. According to his wishes, funeral and burial services were held in Roseburg. A memorial has been established to the ODFW, Oregon Dept. of Fish & Wildlife.
