- Age 68, of Stephensville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 31, 2008, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour, WI. Janice was born on October 13, 1939, in New London, WI., daughter of the late Wesley and Elnora (Riehl) Ross. She married Donald Kuhnke on October 27, 1957, in Stephensville, WI. They shared fifty years of marriage until his death on March 9, 2008. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Shiocton.
She is survived by two brothers: Robert (Nancy) Ross, Shiocton, WI.; Jerry Ross, Austin, Colorado; four sisters: Carol (Vernon) Diedrick, Kaukauna, WI.; Mary (Lawrence) Lemere, Black Creek, WI; Susan (Jeffrey) Beyer, Appleton, WI. and Bonnie (Martin) Ebben, Shiocton, WI. She is further survived and will be missed by many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, god children, other relatives and friends.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a infant twin sister, Erna Ross.
Funeral services for Janice will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at 11 a.m. at First Congregational Church in Shiocton will Rev. Michael Isbill officiating. Burial was will be in the Bovina Cemetery, Town of Bovina. Friends may call at church on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.

- Janice "Jake" Kuhnke, age 68, of Stephensville, passed away, unexpectedly on Saturday, May 31, 2008, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour. Janice was born on October 13, 1939, in Outagamie County daughter of the late Wesley and Elnora (Riehl) Ross. On October 26, 1957, she was united in marriage to Donald Kuhnke in Stephensville. They enjoyed fifty years of marriage together. He preceded her in death on March 9, 2008. Janice babysat for many years for children in the Stephensville and Shiocton area, as well as her nieces and nephews. Janice enjoyed cooking, rummaging, racing, bowling, watching the brewers and playing cards, she especially enjoyed her Poms, Sassy and Sweety and her family. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Shiocton.
She is survived by two brothers: Robert (Nancy) Ross, Shiocton; Jerry Ross, Austin, Colorado; four sisters: Carol (Vern) Diedrick, Kaukauna; Mary (Larry) Lemere, Black Creek; Sue (Jeff) Beyer, Appleton; Bonnie (Marty) Ebben, Shiocton. Janice is further survived and will be missed by many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, god children, other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by an infant twin sister Erna.
God has her in his Kingdom, we have her in our hearts. Janice we love you and will miss you dearly.
Funeral services for Janice will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at 11 a.m. at First Congregational Church in Shiocton with Rev. Michael Isbill officiating. Burial will be in the Bovina Cemetery, Town of Bovina. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established to Diabetes Association.
